Sheaf St Cafeteria

Located a short walk from the city centre by the Old Tetley and part of the Duke Studios, Sheaf St Cafeteria plays host to a space for food, meetings and coffee. Partnered with Laynes Espresso who provide the coffee, the new independent cafeteria during the day offers a curated menu, my favourite the shakshuka (ragout, baked eggs, pistachio, sourdough toast with harissa butter). I had to wait a little while as it is all fresh and made to order but well worth the wait. With only a handful of seats, perhaps twenty at the most the friendly community feel provided great atmosphere.

On Friday and Saturday evenings a bar is open and the room next door has a catalogue of events and nights in the calendar from music, tastings and sport.
